That cell phone prop used in a new period movie might be one you dropped off at the electronics recycling center. The rubber tires you replaced two years ago may have just cushioned a child’s playground fall. A weary driver, traveling at night, saw the speed reduction sign – just in time. The sign’s reflective paint included glass beads from a bottle you dropped in the recycling bin.
